N-Lobjoy
Craftswoman and designer, Nathanaëlle Lobjoy, creates paper lights evocation of blooming flowers and dressed in plant drawings, arabesques of plants, tangles of groves to decorate and illuminate the interiors of an abundant nature.
Each lamp is manufactured in the N-Lobjoy workshop in Paris, signed and varnished (without solvents) to ensure its protection. The art of paper developed in the N-Lobjoy workshop makes it unrecognizable. Linking the creation of drawings and modeling, successive layers of paper, create a
solid shell for delicate and light lamps. The choice of paper and the technique of assembly, create kinds of trompe-l’oeil objects, which invites the touch.
Tambour Bazar
The “AUPRÈS DE TON ARBRE” collection evolves like a landscape, to the rythm of the seasons.
These are unique pieces with varied dimensions and patterns, which echo the diversity of the trees in our forests.
The vases and/or tealight holders are sculpted from porcelain biscuit, their surface is delicately textured and sometimes seems to imitate paper or wool.
My work is intimately linked to time, it has the ambition to invent another
landscape, ephemeral and wild, imbued with fragility, erosion, memory, childhood.
The TAMBOUR BAZAR / Porcelaine Sauvage workshop is located near LIMOGES, in Limousin region, the land of my childhood where I can find inspiration and materials.
